received phone about 4pm EST yesterday 3/26 from this number. Lady didn't announce herself and then asked how many smoke detectors, fire alarms, and/or fire extinguishers are in my home or apartment? Said that's none of your business and said this conversation is over. Have a good day.Called phone number back this morning and a recorded message kicked in and said unable to make this call please contact your operator.

I have an unlisted number and just received a call from this number. Phone said I had a message but no one talked and eventually the phone was hung up. I never answer any calls when I don't recognize the number calling.
It's a smoke detector survey scam... we have mulitiple lines (all for business) and they work their way down the lines. Conversation starts out: "This isn't a sales call, we would like to know if you have smoke alarms yada yada yada...)
I do believe this is a collection agency. The caller asks by your first name and states it is a private matter...they will not leave a message on the phone nor when you answer or call the number back...just block them...If you can not leave a message via voice mail or when the called is answered...see ya!!!
