Got a phone call from 866-311-7847 - "The Breast Cancer Society."

If you do a Google search of their name or their phone number 866-311-7847, it looks like it is a registered charity but it also looks like the $ goes to the corporation, not to patients. They were actually calling for my sister. How they got my #, I don't know. They wanted to send me out an envelope and asked if I could send 40, 30, or $20. I said I could do $20. The woman used the terms "God Bless" often. She indicated that they were a registered charity with the attorney general's office so I "don't need to worry about that." She then turned me over to a man who was verified my information (Name and address, pledge amount). Asked me if I could get it out in 3 days. Said I would try. Again, got the "God Bless." The call was very quick. Needless to say, I won't be sending them the $.
